Welcome to the online home of UCC TradSoc!

UCC TradSoc is dedicated to the promotion of Irish Traditional Music in UCC and Cork City and is for anyone who plays, listens to, or has a remote interest in trad!

We hold free weekly concerts that showcase fantastic Irish traditional musicians on campus. We also hold weekly sessions which are a great opportunity to meet new people, improve your playing and learn new tunes.

Other less regular events which we will be hosting include, céilís, lectures, workshops, the tune composition competition, and our annual Mystery tour which this year went to Castlemartyr where a mighty night was had by all!

In addition to all our weekly activities we hold our annual TradSoc festival, known as 'TradFest'! It's a fantastic weekend event for both students and the general public. Here the best of Irish musicians from around the country are brought together for a few days of concerts, céilis, sessions and much more.
