Welcome to the online home of the Irish Traditional Music Society, University College Cork.

Trad Society is dedicated to the promotion of Irish Traditional Music in UCC and Cork city.

We hold weekly concerts that showcase fantastic Irish traditional musicians. We also hold weekly sessions in 'An Spailpin Fanác' and will be commencing beginner sessions in the Seomra Caidreamh on campus in the new academic year. These sessions are a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and improve your playing. There will be opportunities to swap tunes, attend lectures, ceilis and much more!

In addition to all our weekley activities we hold our annual Tradsoc festival, known as 'TradFest' which is a fantastic event for both students and the public.

OUR ANNUAL AGM MEETING IS HAPPENING ON MONDAY 15TH MARCH IN THE BEARRA ROOM IN THE STUDENT CENTRE AT 7PM. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING A POSITION ON THE TRADSOC COMMITTEE PLEASE COME ALONG! HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU THERE!
