UCC Tradsoc are planning their very first "Battle of the Trad Bands" competition.

The prize will include the support gig to the main act at the February Tradfest, as well as a €600 cash prize.

If you are in a band and would like some exposure, or if you are interested in getting a band together, then this competition is for you - so start getting your set-lists together.

Competition will be on the night of Friday 4th February 2011, so put the date in the diary!

Anyone can enter, band members do not have to be from UCC or any other college.

Maximum 8 / minimum 3 members per band, with €30 entry fee. Band members must all be over 18.

You will be required to perform a 15 minute set, with maximum one song.

Closing date for entries is Friday 21st January 2011.
