Céilís

Here at UCC Tradsoc, céilís are an integral part of our regular events schedule. Our céilís are for everyone - not just accomplished dancers but also beginners and people of every standard in between. If you don't know the dances, don't worry, we employ a "Fear an Tí" to call the dances so that everyone is able to participate - with varying levels of success! Céilís are a great way of getting to know new people both through dancing and also through mingling with other like-minded people while staying fit and are great fun for everyone no matter what skill level! Venues in which we have held céilís include The Amphitheatre, beside the Main Quadrangle and The Old bar on campus and Plato Murphys Bar and upstairs in "An Spailpín Fánac" on South Main Street in Cork city centre.
